India Floods
It's India's worst flooding in over 100 years. The states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh experienced torrential rainfall, resulting in unceasing rising waters.
Millions of people have been left homeless and 250 have succumbed to the devastation. Hundreds of thousands of farmland acres are now underwater. Help the Children is working, alongside reliable contacts in India, to provide emergency assistance. We're sending food, clothing, and over-the-counter medications.
This project also allows for Gospel introduction to this largely Hindu population. We have a great opportunity for Christian witness.
The estimated budget for the Flood in India project is $100,000. We know times are tough. But if you feel led to help shine the Light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ into dark corners of the world through this project, your support will be greatly appreciated.
For a great door and effectual is opened unto me and there are many adversaries. I Cor. 16:9

I think this is a great
I think this is a great mission and will help many people and evaluate their current Christian status as well. Many of us who are Christians definitely need to review and re evaluate their status because most people are forgetting their status as one. This activity will help Christians but other religions as well as they review there spiritual needs. On the other hand, 2010 is here, and we need to raise our ideas and we need to get ready of the coming challenges that are to come. On the other hand, don’t you know that in schools?Teachers are looking for something for students to do to help them break in the New Year lull might look into a New Year's resolution worksheet for their students.Granted, New Year's resolutions don't always work out for adults, never mind for kids, but it may not be a bad idea, and since there are likely a billion templates on the web,no cash now is needed to buy a workbook with one in it.Any time of year is good to get students to think about self-improvement,and how to set goals and realize them, but New Year's seems like a perfect time to get them thinking about it.
